Meet Nicholas Marchese, our newest OnCore Ambassador. Nicholas was a standout junior golfer from Bolton, Ontario, Canada who played higher golf at Tusculum University in Tusculum, Tenn. He joined us to discuss his journey to professional golf and playing the just released VERO X2.
Growing up in Toronto, golf was not on the radar for most kids. It was pretty much unchangingly hockey. Growing up, I played every sport I could, but hockey was my main focus at the competitive level. It was my dream to play in the NHL. With all of the sports I played as a kid, it’s ironic looking when on it now that the one I didn’t like doing the most was when my parents put me in golf zany during the summers. My dad and grandfather loved golf and unchangingly wanted to go play in the summers, but I did not superintendency for it unbearable to go with them. I thought golf was lame and I only wanted to focus on hockey.
As the years passed and I grew older, things changed. I suffered a career-ending injury in hockey during the same time I lost my grandfather. I realized I could have spent increasingly time with him by just going to the golf course. Because of my injury and his loss, I decided I would pick up golf when I was virtually 15 years old. I didn’t expect to go anywhere with it, but I became obsessed with it and became good unbearable to play higher golf. I learned so much well-nigh myself and golf during my time in higher and saw a massive resurgence in my game and abilities, unbearable to the point where players told me at the highest levels that I could compete with the weightier in the world.
I had a nonflexible time yoyo it for a while, but recently I have been worldly-wise to see for myself that I can play and compete with the weightier in the world, which led to my visualization to turn pro!
I am so thankful to be an OnCore Ambassador and be a part of the team during this journey. Their support has been increasingly wondrous than I overly could have imagined. I have been playing the OnCore wittiness for a few years now, and that is when my game really took a turn for the better. Since I put the VERO X2 in my bag, I have been playing some of the weightier golf of my career. I noticed an instant jump in wittiness speed on full swings, I am worldly-wise to flight it in my desired window or in any way that I need to.
