So my dad used to take me to golf lessons and competitions every week, sometimes twice a week. When I say they split, I mean he left and has been missing for the last 13 years, haven\'t seen or heard from him. One day he was here, then he said he was going away and splitting from my mother. Then he never contacted or answered calls etc.
He had a big alcohol problem which no doubt played a part.
Having multiple siblings and my mother putting us both through education, college etc. Made it difficult to find the time to get down to the range as much, couldn\'t afford the lessons anymore and couldn\'t afford memberships or rounds as much as I\'d need to turn pro etc.
Eventually ended up going to unvisited, moving around for jobs and only just ended up settled with the financial stability to play a lot more.
